TRANSFORMING MEMBERSHIP WITH OMEGA MU OMEGA

Welcome to the Omega Mu Omega Membership Page. My name is DawnMarie Callaway, the fourth Membership Chairman in our chapter’s illustrious, chartered, and award-winning history. It is my pleasure and honor to welcome you, along with the members of Omega Mu Omega, to continued service and sisterhood.

During my administration, our chapter and members have hosted engaging events and activities that strengthen our bonds, expand our community presence, and create meaningful opportunities for connection, service, and sisterhood. Together, we are championing service, empowering sisterhood, and transforming the world.

Our dynamic Sorors represent diverse demographics, backgrounds, experiences, and stages of life. There is a place for everyone here. We are committed to fostering an engaged and connected community of women dedicated to service to all mankind, the celebration of sisterhood, and meaningful support for one another throughout Philadelphia, where we serve communities along the river.

Our administration’s theme, “Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World,” guides all that we do. Through chapter programs, community partnerships, member engagement, and opportunities for continued connection, we remain committed to making a difference locally and beyond. By serving together, supporting one another, and sharing our collective gifts, we transform membership into meaningful action and lasting impact.

SERVING COMMUNITIES ALONG THE RIVER

Serving communities along the river has been our mission since Omega Mu Omega was chartered in 2016. Through service, sisterly support, community engagement, and initiatives that address the needs of those we serve, our members continue to bring this mission to life.

Today, our chapter includes 123 extraordinary women, including the 19 inaugural members initiated in December 2023. In May 2025, we welcomed nine additional extraordinary and talented members. Each member strengthens our legacy, enriches our sisterhood, and expands the impact of Omega Mu Omega.

Now, we invite you to become part of that story.

If service is your passion and you are seeking a community of committed Alpha Kappa Alpha women, Omega Mu Omega may be your home. We invite you to connect with us, learn more about our chapter, and discover opportunities for meaningful engagement, sisterly fellowship, and service.

As a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, we welcome you to join us for a meeting, service activity, or chapter gathering. We look forward to meeting you, learning about your interests, and exploring how your gifts and experiences can contribute to our shared mission of championing service, empowering sisterhood, and transforming the world.
